We are fundraising to celebrate 20 years of community service!

Twenty years ago, our founder & executive director Joyce Madyun, saw the need for young peopleto have a safe place where they could go before and after school. This place would be somewhere they could enrich their minds away from school. She and her husband did not have the resources saved in the bank, so they got a second mortgage on there home and purchased a dilapidated building at the corner of their block that was for sale. With lots of assistance from the community, the project was completed and YOUR Community Center was born. This 501(c)(3) non-profit organization has seen over 3,000 youth come through its doors and with its eight programs, has assisted over 5,000 youth to graduate from high school, college and become professionals in our community.
